I just could not believe what I had witnessed last night at the 53rd annual Grammy Awards. It was a rare sighting. A sighting more rare than the number of UFOs seen by suburb pedestrians on a midnight stroll through the dark enchanted woods not far from their homes. For the first time in years, someone actually obtained the ability to outdo Lady Gaga in being downright eccentric and otherworldly gonzo: Cee Lo. The man had wacky puppets singing back-up vocals for him and he wore chain mail from the days of the Crusades along with a fluffy and flamboyant costume. On top of that, Cee Lo had Gwyneth Paltrow sing along to his soulfully crazy cabaret song. In my opinion, this artist should have won the title "Best Spaced Out Musician," because he truly was out-of-this-world during his short period on that glimmering stage.
