Here's a quick question for Newsviners: Should employers and companies provide wash machines and dryers at their facilities for employees to use during lunch break or after work hours? Despite the arguments and long lines that may occur from this lavish convenience, washing clothes at the job site might make things a little bit easier for people with busy schedules.

Huh? It's a lot easier to wash clothes at home where I can hang them up to dry on the clothes rack, or put them in the closet as soon as they get out of the dryer. Why would I want to lug a bunch of laundry back and forth to work? And it's no big deal to throw a load in while you're watching a game, or eating dinner, or having friends over for drinks. Why hang out after work and do laundry when you can't be getting anything else done at the same time?

The place I do laundry when I go to San Diego has a wonderful bar next door (The "Tilted Stick").

Now, if I can work from there, we might have something........lolol.

And in response to the question posed above..."No."

Heck yes! actually the employers should provide laundry service. Bring you dirty duds in the morning and take clean ones home at the end of the day.

Also free lunch.

Free teeth cleaning.

Free mortuary service!

Free baby sitting.

Free tax accounting.

Free gym and work out area.

Free house cleaning.

Why dont the employers just send employees a check and tell them to stay home, then they could do all these things in the comfort of home:)

They would just complain that they didn't have time to eat their lunch because the laundry had to be done.

Just imagine smelling your co-workers' dirty clothes all day before they washed them.

Even worse would be seeing your co-worker's skid marks in their droopy drawers while you are trying to eat your lunch.

That's why I got that thong. No more droopy drawers. Now if I can figure out how to get rid of the skid. LOL!

I had never thought of this but I think it would be great!!! My job requires a lot of travel but on the days that I am actually in my office, there is often not a lot to do except write reports. Being abel to write my reports while sitting there doing laundry would be a great way to focus on my work while getting some housework done at the same time.
