Before the foundation of the earth was formed by the mighty hand of God, according to the biblical scriptures, angels preexisted. Furthermore, God used these spiritual beings to protect the garden of Eden and the tree of life when Adam and Eve were ousted out into the futile and drought wilderness located on the garden's eastern border. Moreover, all throughout the Old Testament and even the New Testament, we can read portions about angelic creatures illustrating visions, carrying answers to prayers, delivering messages, and fighting against demons and the devil. However, what I would like to know is: Why does God need angels to carry out His tasks when He can do everything all by Himself?
