Is Georgina Sparks Really "Gossip Girl"?

For all you fans out there who can't get enough of the show "Gossip Girl," last monday, at the end of the show, the mayhem-character actually known as "Gossip Girl" was revealed to the television audience for the very first time in five seasons. To many it became a huge surprise finding out that Georgina Sparks (Michelle Trachtenberg) was the one behind all the scandalous rumors that made or broke all the wealthy brat-socialites who consistently showed up on the Upper East Side of New York City; however, there were a few of us, who were not surprised at all due to Georgina's already revealed quick wit and off-the-fence-drama-queen humor. Moreover, she was notoriously known for setting Serena, Blair, and others up for the bait-and-hook on numerous occasions. Nevertheless, there was another category of viewers watching this episode who still cannot believe that Georgina Sparks was the actual Gossip Girl. In fact, the disclosure of Georgina Sparks as the rumor spreader sparked a sea of remarks that got blasted around like grenade tennis balls such as "They must have made a mistake in the script" or "She must be pretending to be Gossip Girl" or even "We would have to be quite stupid to believe she's the actual Gossip Girl!" Therefore, what do you think about Georgina Sparks being "Gossip Girl" and does this mean that the television series is drawing to an end?
