The ultimate prize of olympic sports athletes is to make it into the Olympics. They will do anything and just about everything to exceed and perform well at the Olympic Trials; even if it means pulling a hamstring or receiving cuts and bruises. And when these athletes compete in the Olympics, they win ten thousand zillion medals; and yet desire more medals! So the endless cycle of making it to the trials and entering the Olympics is repeated over and over again until their bodies wear and tear. Which brings us to the topic of discussion: Do you think that the Olympics is an addiction to athletes? And do all athletes suffer from olympic addiction?
