Louisiana can only take so much pounding from hurricane storms. And the amount of damage severely hurts the U.S. economy, costs human lives, and destroys countless properties. Therefore, wouldn't it be better if all people were permanently evacuated from this state? Then, that territory could be divided between two other purposes. The first purpose would be to designate a certain amount of land towards a national park or monument. Furthermore, this would protect species of wildlife that inhabit this area. The other usage of this state would be to grow hardy-resistant crops that are use to taking serious wallops from mother nature. For example, farmers could plant an aquatic breed of wild rice, so that when the land floods, these crops flourish and don't get destroyed.
