According to Revelation 20, all of the unsaved will stand before Christ during the Great White Throne Judgment. Furthermore, books are opened during this critical time; including the Book of Life. The Book of Life is the greatest book there is and inside this book are written the names of all those who have accepted Christ as Lord and Savior over their lives: These are the heirs who will inherit eternal life and dwell with God forever and ever on the new earth. Secondly, the other books opened at this judgment hold and contain the numerous works of every single unsaved person who will stand before Jesus at this very important appointed date. Basically, Christ will judge every individual using his or her works from the minor books with a highly detailed analysis. Then, after concluding the works of an individual from the minor books, He will indicate that that person had never accepted Him as Lord and Savior; hence, his or her name is not included inside the Book of Life. Therefore, the angels will whisk him or her over to the lake of fire and toss that particular person inside; where he or she will spend the rest of eternity in endless torment.
