Many people, even though they won't admit it out in public, are yearning for a more advanced form of haptics technology so they can enjoy those wonderful eyecandy movies on a whole new level. Well, here's something that might put a kick in that direction.
1.) The television set will be programmed with a weak signal emitter that, as the name indicates, emits a weak haptic signal.
2.) Then, located not too far from the television set will be an amplifier also known as a decoder. This device will take the encrypted weak haptic signal transmitted from the TV and enlarge the signal from weak to either medium-range or high-range in intensity.
3.) After these two steps, the amplifier passes the amplified signal along to either one or multiple locators, which then scout out the room for the user or users and relay(s) the haptic signal(s) to him, her, or them using an infrared signal to detect body heat; particularly in the head or special place down under.
