This article may be distrubing for some readers. Nevertheless, let's discuss this topic, because it really needs to be brought out of the closet.
Here's an interesting question that a lot of us really do not take serious time out to think about. The question is: Why does God allow humans to receive satisfaction through self-pleasuring? I mean there has to be some explaination behind it? Could it be, because Adam was all alone in the garden of Eden before God created Eve from one of his ribs (Genesis 2:18-25)? Now, if this is the case, who was he self-pleasuring himself about since the conception of a woman hadn't even crossed his mind? Maybe, he saw a reflection of himself in one of the four rivers such as the Tigris or Euphrates, which surrounded the garden? Hopefully, he wasn't thinking about the tamed animals that dwelled peaceful with him during those times? If these were the case, this could explain the existence of homosexuality and bestiality. Nonetheless, this is quite a difficult piece to fit into the jigsaw puzzle. Or, maybe God was preparing Adam for intercourse with Eve? Another interesting aspect could be that God foreknew of modern day technology such as In Vitro fertilization and sperm banks, so He allowed humans, particularly males to enjoy self-pleasuring? Well, maybe not. However, without self-pleasuring many thousands of people who are alive on the earth right now would not even exist; and this doesn't include many thousands more yet to be conceived through petri dishes, pipettes, beakers; and possibly 3-D printers.
Furthermore, the existence of humans receiving gratification through self-pleasuring doesn't make sense for the following reasons either.
1.) Self-procreation. Unlike other types of living organisms on this planet, we humans do not have the amazing ability to create other offspring through self-pleasuring or having intercourse with ourselves.
2.) Self-tickling. This is a fascinating notion: How is it that we can obtain gratification through self-pleasuring but we cannot tickle ourselves? This makes no sense since both forms are achieved through the same sense: Touch.
3.) Self-caressing. Similar to self-tickling. This makes no sense either. Someone else can caress our heads and it feels wonderful. However, if we caress our own heads, it just doesn't feel the same way.
