Wouldn't it be great to have a recycling bin that actually lives up to its name? Basically, the contraption would be around the size of two or three transportable bins. The main lid would open up and we would find several smaller lids inside. Each lid would be designated for a specific compartment. For instance, one lid would be plastics; another for paper; and a third for rubber or metal or glass. Therefore, we would toss our stuff inside each particular section, press buttons on the exterior of the bin, and the bin would begin processing the products down to a grinding powder. That way, when the recycling truck stops by the house, they would only need to pick up the grinded powder end-product rather than big-bulky items that hog lots of space inside the truck.
