It's Thursday morning. You live in a makeshift tent, because the cost of renting an apartment nowadays has skyrocketed to $3000.00 per month. Furthermore, you also sold your favorite car since gas prices flew through the roof to roughly $33.00 a gallon. And if that isn't bad enough, you had to resort to growing your own vegetables, fruits, and raising poultry in a tiny coop you had managed to construct out of old soda cans. Yep, it's the only way to survive in the tough driven economy of America; where the amount of money they want for items at any supermarket are beyond your spending abilities: For example, just to buy an apple, it costs $15.00! That's right, and the candy bars have price tags to die for. Meat products: You don't hold your breath on them either. Moreover, you get around by using a worn out bicycle and sew clothes from thrown out rags you find in trash cans; however, you don't feel too bad about your living conditions since millions of other Americans are facing this cold hard truth as well. What a day it will be.
