Just open the book of Revelation in the bible and you will see a period of unprecedented chaos. This book is loaded with disasters. There's one calamity after another. These catastrophes range from billions of people dying from disease; trees and grass being burned up, seas and rivers turning to red and all life in them dying off, comet and asteroid impacts, warfare, false peace, and a whole shopping list of other events that would make your hair stand up if they were to happen this week!
Overall, by the time all this hell ends at the conclusion of the Armageddon campaign, when Jesus Christ returns with His armies in heaven (Revelation 19), the whole world looks like a badly bruised pinata with tons of disrupted rubble lopsided all over the place. Cities of the nations will have been fallen, many billions of people will have perished, and society as we currently know it will be at a complete standstill.
Nevertheless, despite the fact these horrific events will occur regardless of whether we fast and pray on the Mount of Olives for forty days and forty nights or we jump from one church to the next for twelve months straight without taking a shower, there is one action that could be taken now (besides the fact of accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior to be taken up in the Rapture before all this demonic mess sifts the life out of this planet): We could preserve all cultures by storing them inside a preservation vault.
This vault would be located deep underneath the ground, so that while cities are being uprooted from their foundations and people are running all over the place like a herd of wild elks during the tribulation period, the cultures of the world will remain intact. Furthermore, this is vitally important for the following reasons:
1.) Many thousands of languages spoken nowadays have only a few hundred or thousand speakers. By preserving these languages and cultures of these people, it can be reintroduced during the Millennium.
2.) Society will have to be rebuilt after the tribulation period due to the destructive nature occurring on earth during that turbulent time. When society is rebuilt, these cultures, after retrieving the vault materials, could be easily made available so that they are symbiotic along with the reconstruction process. For instance, what good is it to build a German house or Yoruba hut without the culture and language? These dwelling places are as good as the people who died during the seven year tribulation! However, with the stored materials, both can be applied once again to European society, African society, and the world at large.
3.) Human society will not end at the Millennium either, it will continue into the eternal state as well. Now, it might not be similar to the way it is now or it might have several drastic changes due to God's disproval over certain beliefs and traditions we have; nevertheless, human society will continue and will flourish forevermore. Hence, as stewarts, we can preserve our cultures now, so that they are represented throughout eternity!
